https://video.echelon.pl/videos/watch/12f9e1b8-ad7b-4f20-ba6d-582207360c44 On 8 June 2014, during a Pentecost service, members of the Russian Orthodox Army captured priests of the The Lord Pentecostal church in Sloviansk, tortured and then shot near Mount Karachun. The victims were four priests Volodymyr Olexandrovych Velychko, Viktor Ivanovych Bradarskiy, Ruvym Olexandrovych Pavenko and Albert Olexandrovych Pavenko. The perpetrators were later established to be Oleg Obraztsov from Makiivka, Andrey Chernishov and Yevgeniy Pushkov from Slovyansk. After murdering the priests the three also collected ransom from their families promising their release. The murder was one of the first of series of religious prosecution of confessions other than Russian Orthodox enforced by the Russian occupational forces after their covert invasion into Donbas in 2014.
