A little over a month ago, the media actively spread the news that Krzysztof had left Poland for Ukraine because he allegedly ‘did not believe in the war.’ In the Zaporizhzhia region, the Pole was captured by the Russians and sent to a pre-trial detention centre in the Rostov region. There, Krzysztof was mocked daily. ‘It was because of his ethnicity that he was treated this way. Because he was Polish. A Lech,’ said a former prisoner known by the pseudonym ‘Britva,’ who was held in a neighbouring cell.
