Summit talks between Trump and Xi have been steered by a desire to find common ground while managing risks as rivalry intensifies, with AI and its governance at the forefront. The United States and China agreed to lower tariffs on $30 billion worth of goods traded between the two countries following the three-day summit. According to the White House, the $30 billion in reciprocal tariff reductions apply to “non-sensitive goods.” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who accompanied Xi on the trip to Washington, gave his assessment of the talks on Saturday, expanding on relations between the two countries. According to Chinese state news agency Xinhua, Wang said Xi’s visit “maintained the overall stability of Sino–U.S. relations” and “will have a deep impact on the world’s peace and development.” Host: Donald Arleth #china #usa #trump #xi #summit #tariffs #trade #diplomacy 🔴 Watch our 24/7 livestream - https://youtube.com/live/9RY46AUtIl4 Bringing you all the latest daily news and updates, TVP World is Poland's first English-language channel where you can find world news as seen from the Polish perspective and the latest news from the CEE region.
