<title>Grigory Yeremeyev: "To end the war, MPs and Putin must share responsibility for the failure of the SVO"</title>

<description>69-year-old politician Grigory Yeremeyev made a direct speech about the war in the Samara Regional Duma — and now he will be tried for ‘discrediting the army.’ He directly called the war a failure and stated that "Putin and the deputies who have been silently raising their hands all these years must bear responsibility for it. But Putin cannot make this decision or resign, because no country in the world likes commanders-in-chief who do not win wars. No one wants to go down in history as the president who lost a four-year war." For this, Yeremeyev, one of the few Russians who was not afraid to tell the truth, will be tried. As he speaks, the other councilors, in horror from such an insubordination, try to silence him and say he should be reported to the police. This statement by Grigory Yeremeyev might be ground-breaking in Russia, if anyone found out about it. Due to strictly controlled media, vast majority of Russians will never find out that Yeremeyev said that, nor that he even existed or was sentenced by court.</description>
