Back in Warsaw, Polish basketry has just received UNESCO heritage status. The Warsaw Craft Days held at the beautiful Gawronski Villa on Aleje Ujazdowskie celebrated this milestone with an exhibition of Polish designers drawing inspiration from traditional folk craftsmanship, fresh from making waves in Milan.
