Even Siberia? Russians react to the Omsk drone attack | Break the Fake https://video.echelon.pl/videos/watch/8dfbbddf-3f70-4717-9539-84ad0c842202 Ukrainian drones are reaching deep into Russia, and ordinary Russians are feeling the consequences at the fuel pump. On October 8, drones reached Omsk, more than 2,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, with reports of explosions and activity near an industrial facility. The attack came amid repeated strikes on Russian oil infrastructure and growing concerns over rising fuel prices in some regions. According to Russian sources, gasoline prices have risen by around 20% in certain areas, while repairs to pipelines and refinery infrastructure continue to add pressure to the country's energy sector. For Russians already facing higher costs, the question is becoming harder to ignore: how much will the war cost them at home? In this latest episode of Break the Fake, Benjamin Lee looks at the drone attack on Omsk, Russia's rising fuel prices, and how Ukraine's long-range strikes could be affecting the everyday lives of Russians far from the front line.
