Ukraine's 3rd Army Corps and the 1st Azov National Guard Corps are two formations with shared roots. They trace their origins back to the Azov Volunteer Battalion, founded in 2014. On the one hand, there is their courage and active participation in numerous battles; on the other, a controversial past and facts that cast a shadow over the Azov legend. In this film, Krzysztof Nieczypor discusses the history of the Azov movement, its founding principles and its evolution. The analysis was prepared by OSW (Institute of Eastern Studies), leading Polish think tank specialising in Central and Eastern Europe.
