https://video.echelon.pl/videos/watch/debde8b8-28cd-4050-ac22-e86822b68a45 Ukraine is sending out desperate appeals to its allies for interceptors as Russia has ramped up its campaign of ballistic and cruise missile attacks on Ukrainian targets in what appears to be a response to Ukraine’s campaign of long-range strikes against oil and gas infrastructure, meant to deplete the Kremlin’s war chest. “The thing with momentum is that it's like a pendulum. It swings back. Right now, Russia’s got an answer to it, which is to increase its ballistic missile attacks, and it’s having success with that, unfortunately,” said Stuart Dowell, TVP World’s Political Editor. As he points out, the U.S. is capable of manufacturing 600 Patriot interceptor missiles, and while it plans to ramp them up to 2,000 annually, this will take several years to materialize. Meanwhile, Russia manufactures roughly 100 ballistic missiles monthly. “On the other hand, maybe it is not so bad if it means that they can’t attack with 30 of these missiles every day,” pointing out that in one of the largest attacks in recent weeks, Russia fired 30 missiles. “It means that they’re able to launch a large attack (..) maybe twice a month.” “I think that Ukraine is able to absorb a lot of these strikes.
