As a result, the deployment of U.S. forces to Poland will be delayed. EU MOVES TO FINALIZE U.S. TARIFF DEAL AHEAD OF TRUMP DEADLINE The EU has struck a provisional agreement to finalize the deal scrapping duties on U.S. imports ahead of Donald Trump’s July 4 deadline. Under the deal, reached in July of last year, the EU agreed to scrap its tariffs on U.S. industrial goods, while Washington pledged to cap tariffs on most goods at 15%.
