This is not a fake, the original can be found on the official Russian Ministry of Justice website here https://minjust.gov.ru/static/exhibition/filmography/gitler-osvoboditel.html as well as on their profile on Russian video streaming service on VK. The movie is presented with zero context or explanation. Apparently, it's a 1940's Nazi propaganda movie recorded by Russian collaborators, possibly from Russian Liberation Army in which over 125'000 Soviet citizens served under German command. The narrator speaks about Hitler being a hero, who was the first to fight Bolshevism and how Russia will flourish under Nazi rule.

Sean Wiswesser is a veteran CIA operations officer who spent almost three decades working for the agency deployed in various places around the world. Majority of his career was working on Russia and in particular on Russian intelligence services - basically he was a spy, recruiting other spies.

Putin in full confidence explains that Russian troops "almost surrounded" Ukrainian forces by "pushing them to the Staryi Oskol river", even listing Russian army units which are responsible for that success. The news caused huge confusion in Russian, because Staryi Oskol is not a river but a town, located in Belgorod oblast' of Russia, 150 km from Ukraine. This one from a long series of Putin's public nonsense statements raises many questions about how reliably Putin is being informed about the real situation on the front line. Some speculated that Putin actually meant the river Oskil south of Kupyansk, where Russian forces had been indeed attempting to encircle Ukrainian positions for the last year or so but without any success. Putin however, previously announced "liberation of Borova", a town in the area, where Russian army did not even come close to, marking yet another false report fed to Putin by his generals.

What can be seen in these videos carefully recorded by Moscow residents is numerous failures of the much boasted "Pantsir" air defense systems in intercepting Ukrainian drones. Different factors are blamed, including small thermal and radar signature of the drones, nonetheless Russia decided to create several circles around Moscow specifically using the "Pantsir" systems.

The 18 June 2026 drone attack on Moscow Refinery left the general public with pictures of huge piles of smoke and explosions in Russia's capital, but the most popular image was undoubtedly the massive (20-30 m diameter) flying steel gas tank cap into air as result of the tank explosion. Attributed initially to an Ukrainian drone, collected video evidence suggests this particular explosion was more likely caused by Russian chaotic air defense effort and the tank was blown up by a "Pantsir" or MANPADS missile that missed a drone, but did not miss the tank. What also attracts attention is a total lack of any air raid warnings in Moscow during an attack that continued for two hours from 05:00 to 07:00 in the morning, as civilians can be seen chaotically roaming in the vicinity of both the targeted refinery and mobile air defense teams, firing MANPADS right around civilian vehicles queuing right on a road bridge.

Russians have long praised the much-mythologised 'Soviet education', which was supposed to be comprehensive and bestow its recipients with a kind of high cultural and moral supremacy over others. This video perfectly captures the key features of Homo Sovieticus culture. In it, an elderly Russian woman boasts about her higher education before stealing a pair of shoes from a store. She is then confronted by much younger female employees who caught her on CCTV. She goes through the full cycle of the typical Russian defence mechanism when caught red-handed: fierce denial, personal attacks, an appeal to empathy, questioning the ownership of the stolen goods, claiming that, if they did not belong to anyone, it was her right to take them, and challenging the employees with, 'So go and call the police', before trying to run away when they actually do call the police. After a lengthy quarrel in which she uses every weapon in the Homo sovieticus arsenal, she finally gives up, returns the stolen shoes, and leaves in anger.

In 2022 on Red Square in Moscow a Russian actor Ivan Okhlobystin was tasked with raising the spirit of Russians for upgrading the ongoing "special military operation" to no less than "sacred war", shouting in a hoarse voice the word "goyda!!!" that was previously rather unknown to Russian audience. Many commentators pointed with his Dr Strangelove face and glasses, he didn't really look like a daemon of war, even in spite of black leather jacket and gloves, which was a Nazi-cosplaying trend populazised by singer Shaman back in the day but later largely abandoned. Okhlobystin also cannot pronounce "r", so his war cry sounded rather weak as he was shouting "my bwothews and sistews". The word "goyda" is also anything but Russian - it originates from Tatar "ayda" meaning "let's go, let's move" and is genuinely widespread in Caucasus, Balkans

12 June 2026, some parents in Russian town of Krasnodar decided to celebrate the Day of Russia by filming their kids reciting a patriotic rhyme in front of a huge pond that was once a street and formed after a rain in the absence of working storm drainage. This video captures the essence of today's Russia perfectly - the Krasnodar authorities have for years acknowledged that around 75% of the stormwater drainage network is worn out, with most of the pipes having been laid between the 1950s and 1980s. A full modernisation is expected to cost at least 37 billion roubles, plus around 3.8 billion roubles annually for maintenance.

Is that a lot? For comparison, in February and May 2026 alone, Russia fired at least 5 ‘Kinzhal’ missiles and 137 Kh-101 missiles. A single Kh-101 is estimated to cost around 13 million USD (over 1.2 billion roubles), and a ‘Kinzhal’ at $4.5–10 million per unit. That is tens of billions of roubles literally thrown into the sky, which could easily have covered the cost of bringing the dilapidated, Soviet-era storm infrastructure in such districts up to standard

General Andrey Gurulyov, a member of the Russian State Duma and formerly an active-duty military officer, has just publicly admitted to two things:

that in 2014 he gave the order to shell an Orthodox church in the Donbas, in which women and children were killed “because it had to be done” - their names likely ended up on the infamous Alley of Angels, alongside the other alleged victims of “Banderite fascists”
that between 2014 and 2021, regular Russian military personnel served in the Donbas, in spite of fierce denials by Moscow

Finally, he sweetly adds that Kyiv should be bombed mercilessly, regardless of civilian casualties, “because that’s what had to be done”.
